Key West These pics were taken in Key West, Florida between April 4, 2003 and April 6, 2003. I took a few days off work and decided to meet my friends Jeff and Emily in Key West. The weekend forecast was for clear skies and temps in the mid-80s, so I decided to take the Z4. I ran the whole way top down, going and coming. I passed quite a few convertibles, but no Z4s. An M3 Cab did pass a few cars to catch up and trail behind me for a while, but then they turned off somewhere. We checked into The Palms Hotel, which was a pretty cool place to stay. The rooms were small, but not too bad overall. And they had a great pool and tiki bar. On Saturday, we rented some bikes from the hotel and went sightseeing. We went and bought some snorkeling equipment, and then biked down Duvall Street. We ended up at a small beach, which happened to be across the street from the Southernmost Point, which is just 90 miles from Cuba. After that, we went on a Sebago snorkeling trip. It was my first time snorkeling. I had a hard time getting used to the snorkel, but after a while I was alright. While I was on the reef I saw a nurse shark, and a bunch of other fish I couldn't identify. On the way back, they put up the sail and of course Jeff had to lend a hand. I was content to lie on the deck with my drink, catch some sun, and snap off a few pics. So after all that, we wanted to get some food. We ended up at Billyfish Bar & Grill which is along a huge pier that overlooks the cruise ship dock and also gives a great view of the sunset. It was a pretty cool trip and I'll definitely be going back again
