2003 Air & Sea Show These pics were taken on Fort Lauderdale Beach on May 3, 2003. Every year, in May, the McDonald's Air & Sea Show comes to Fort Lauderdale. We decided to go check it out, but unfortunately, this involves getting up waaaay too early in the morning, but we got an awesome spot right outside of Beachplace, right on the beach, underneath some palm trees for shade. Adam got there first, Jen and Nick were there, Tania came by, and Lotz biked by from his new house after a while. We spent all day in the 90 degree sun. It was worth it though, cuz we saw a lot of cool stuff. The Goodyear blimp did a low-level flyover. Then some Apache's flew by. An F-18 Hornet did a few tricks. Then there were a few quick flyby's: F-117 Nighthawk, A-10 Warthog, B-52 Stratofortress, B-1 Lancer, and my personal favorite, the B-2 Stealth Bomber. And the Thunderbirds kicked absolute ass.
