OmeshFest 2004 Part I - Bloomfield These pics were taken at Mary-Ellen's house in Colchester, CT on October 16, 2004. Okay, so it wasn't technically in Bloomfield, but OmeshFest has always been about getting together with my oldest friends from Bloomfield. Most of us separated in 8th grade, while a few continued on to BHS together. I of course took off for Florida in October of my junior year. Ben was the first to coin the phrase "OmeshFest" and backed it up by producing some really cool T-Shirts. Everyone who attended got one. It was really cool to see everyone again, and a lot of people did make an effort to come. From BHS, it was Me, Ben Schaffer, Amy Flint, Mary-Ellen Lescoe, Becky Brown, and Andy Holl. Tinh Tieu and Joye Thaller didn't go to high school with us, but came anyway as a show of 8th grade solidarity. Our 8th Grade English teacher, Mr. Johnston, even made an appearance! Matt Griffin and Adam Myers-Spector couldn't make it. Hopefully we can get together for Tinhapalooza next year with an even bigger crew! Thanks to Mary-Ellen for hosting the party at her wonderfully-constructed home (and for letting me sit on the tractor!), and thanks to everyone who took time out of their schedule to meet with old friends. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time! A bunch of people were taking pics, so as soon as I get a hold of them, I will update this page to include those pics as well.
