O-Dawg's 7g Minibow Reef

I've been wanting to start a saltwater reef for a really long time now, but I've always been put off by the perceived difficulty, the startup cost, and the large amount of maintenance required. Regardless, it's always been an interest, especially as many of my friends have saltwater tanks. I've kept up with several websites related to reefing, until I stumbled upon something new...the Minibow. This was a revelation to me; a small, manageable tank that was much easier to maintain that it's larger cousins. In the right hands, it can become a truly beautiful reef. I was hooked, determined to setup one of my own. A special shout-out goes to Gil and the guys at the Minibow Message Boards. Their experiences really prompted me to get started in this cool little hobby.
